Worship Service Participant Schedule

Worship at Grace Church is a collaboration among many participants, each of whom has an important role to play. If you would like to contribute to our worship in any of these roles, let the Worship team know.

If you are scheduled and can't make it, please recruit a replacement from the lists at the end of this document, it is your responsibility as a volunteer to find a substitute when you cannot serve.

Mini-Biographies of Grace Liturgists

One of the blessings of being without an assigned priest for our congregation is that we hear different voices on Sunday mornings. The priests listed below celebrate Eucharist (Holy Communion) most Sundays at Grace.
Our healing services (Celebrations of Wholeness and Healing) are led by Hawley Todd, TSSF. We conduct these services once a month at our Sunday worship time and on the second Wednesday evening of every month.

Hawley Todd, TSSF

Hawley Todd has worked for 29 years in various ministries of healing. He is currently Executive Director of Episcopal Healing Ministries. He was mentored by the founder of Episcopal Healing Ministries, the Rev. Emily Gardiner Neal, from 1982 until her death in 1989.
He was trained in the Anglican tradition at Bexley Hall Episcopal Seminary, taught World Religions at McMaster University and has been an Education for Ministry mentor with the University of the South since 1996. Hawley has extensive training in Hindu, Buddhist, Native American, and complimentary healing traditions.
He has been an Assistant Formation Director for the Third Order of the Society of St. Francis and was the Director of Christian Formation at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Terrace Park, OH from 1990 to 2006.  He is a trained spiritual director and has led retreats and missions in the United States and Canada. Forward Movement has published 2 of his works which are entitled Healing Prayer: Your Questions Answered and Tips for Healing Ministers.
You can read some of Hawley's writings about healing on Grace's website here.

The Reverend Anne Warrington Wilson

Anne has served as Deacon Vicar, Assistant, Interim Rector and Priest-in-Charge in a number of churches around Cincinnati since the early 1980s. She was the Interim Rector at Grace Church in 1988-9 between Fr. Riker and Fr. Melton. She answers to Mother (Mtr.) Anne or Anne for those who don’t care for titles.
At her last congregation, Anne began to grow vegetables for the local food pantry. She has continued this in her own yard and enjoys raising and giving away summer produce.

The Reverend Jason Leo

E-mail: jleo@diosohio.org
Jason has served as Missioner for Congregational Vitality since January 2016. Previously he served as the rector of Calvary Church, Clifton from 2000 to 2015, and was vicar of Trinity, London from 1998 to 2000. Jason began his ministry in Southern Ohio as the Director of the Summer Camping program and Youth Ministries in 1994.

The Reverend Jane Gerdsen

The Rev. Jane Gerdsen serves as Missioner for Fresh Expressions and Praxis Communities for the Diocese of Southern Ohio. She is also currently the chair of the Episcopal Church’s Advisory Group on Church Planting.
Jane is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Episcopal Divinity School. Prior to seminary, she was a Montessori teacher and worked as a Director of Religious Education.  While in seminary, Jane interned with Ecclesia Ministries and was part of the Street Church community in Boston. She then served for five years as the priest of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Dayton, Ohio.

There is also an option for Family Camp. For more info or registration for that, please see link below:

ALSO: there are a couple ways this summer to stay involved while you are away from camp:
Sign up to be a camp staff sponsor - this entails praying for this staffer throughout the summer and possibly having some correspondence through snail mail as well.
Love to sing camp songs? Let us know and we can get the music to you!
Would you like to remember a few camp graces? Want to use them in your home before meals?
